Jon Lee Steel fashions small wearable sculptural works in silver and gold. His inspirations range from dynastic Egypt to enigmatic life impressions and portrayals of the natural, cosmic and spiritual worlds. He designs, casts and fabricates all his pieces. He cuts and polishes his own gemstones. All silver is tarnish-free ArgentiumTM 925 and 970 Sterling Silver. All gold is provided by Hoover and Strong who recycles existing gold rather then selling gold from traditional mining with the associated environmental pollution, waste and human suffering. All vitreous enamel is Thompson. He resides, works and explores in the Oakland Hills of Northern California.
